I prefer this location over any other ShopRite in the NYC area. The produce and meat are always fresh. The deli, although packed, offers lots of options, and the bakery is always on point. Bring back the baggers!!!!
ShopRite of Gateway is a wonderful grocery store! there's always sales going on some are hard to believe like Lysol type wipes for $.25 a carton. You can buy things on digital you can get a rewards card and get continued savings the store is clean it's up-to-date it's owned by the glass family that owns I believe eight more ShopRite's throughout New York and New Jersey. They used to have a phenomenal floral department but unfortunately it looks like it's changed a great deal and so they don't have the rose jewelry they put in it and the shimmer spray but I do like getting plants from there and their prices are always great. I love that they have their own bakery and so they have everything fresh from their bakery daily. It's upsetting that they have live lobsters I wish that they didn't. They have a good selection of beer and low priced wines. ShopRite of gateway is my favorite grocery store to go to besides BJ's. All the management are helpful and they have a strong motto of the customer is always right. Definitely a place to shop.
Sunday was the name of our cashier and she was so sweet. I appreciate that she cleaned everything down before she start ringing us up. Great service i hope shes the one that trains the rest of the employees because if i come back and my service isnt this good idk... Anyway great first impression!
Smh yall stay having me get stuff I don't need lol. But seriously that bakery department be flexing!!!!.
